Elisa Strozyk : wooden textiles

French version here | Version française ici

Elisa Strozyk is a Germany designer whose work is simply amazing! She incorporates object design and graphic design in an experimental approach, which results in unique, surprising pieces. Her favorite materials include wood, fabric and paper, assembled to create new shapes and textures.

Her creations – some of which were developed with artist Sebastian Neeb – include paper sculptures, tactile surfaces and impressive wood textiles. By attaching pieces of laser cut wood to various textiles, the designer reinvents the notion of textile through all kinds of three-dimensional shapes. The same principle is used to create furniture and light fixtures.
